May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.”
~Psalm 19:14 (NIV)
Dear Sir: Are you using the Authorized (and preserved) King James Version or a Bible that has been edited and improved? (oh no) by man?
God promised to preserve his Word and He did. Please only use the Preserved version. Thank you. MT
Dearest Madam Thompson
This particular Scripture verse from the Word of God is from the NIV.
Me usest many translations as I STUDY God’s Word. Many times, The “Authorized (and preserved) King James Version” taketh liberties in its translation that not only leaveth the meaning unclear, but also slants some things toward a more “King-ly” [my word] meaning.
Me uses “authorized” Greek, Hebrew & Aramaic” translations when I am in doubt of the meaning of a passage of scripture.
We must remember that man, though led by God in the translations, tendeth to “flavoreth” things to their advantage.
Besides that, ye art free to refereth to whatever translation that agreeth to thou spirit and allow others (me included) to usest their translation of choice.
Show me how this particular verse is changed by the translation I usest; if thou please.
