PURPOSE

ARE WE READY OR NOT?
http://youtu.be/T44LepcRUhk?hd=1

Jesus said He would build His “church.” The Greek text has ekklesia, a compound of ek (out of) and klesis (a calling).
He is calling sinners out of the world into fellowship with Him. Jesus is building a holy temple, one living stone at a time, stone upon stone, with the apostles and prophets as the foundation and Jesus as the chief cornerstone.
(Zechariah 6:12, Matthew 16:18, Ephesians 2:20, I Peter 2:4-8)

God created us with a purpose in life. As we walk in His will and in His way, He has promised to direct our steps during our journey. (Proverbs 3:6) Every one of us is designed for greatness. Our potential is limited only by our perceptions of what goes on around us. If we perceive lack, we have lack. If we perceive great gain, we have great gain. (Proverbs 18:21)

Path Of Life Ministries was formed to help us get a view of God’s purpose in our lives and to help anyone willing, to identify and manifest that purpose in a big way.

Path Of Life Ministries desires to fulfill its purpose in God. “What is that purpose?” you might ask. Here is what I believe Path Of Life Ministries’ major purpose to be:

TO BE OF SERVICE.
To be of selfless service to God.
To be of selfless service to our Fellow Man.
To become a pure vessel through which God can work.
To become a gushing fountain of Love that touches all that we meet.
TO LOVE ALL OF CREATION SELFLESSLY AND UNCONDITIONALLY!!

How do you find out what your particular method of service is? You need to pray. Talk to God.

Examine your Life, examine your qualities and most importantly ….

BE STILL AND LISTEN WITH YOUR HEART ….
BE STILL AND LISTEN TO GOD !!!!

  5. A question for y’all. Guys, do you feel pressured to go all out and spend all your money on an engagement ring to please your girl?

Girls, does the amount spent on the ring actually increase how much love you feel for your man?

I dont have a huge amount to spend but the ring I bought for my potential wife the other day she said was to small so that sucked and now I don’t know what to do. So, what’s your felling about this?

  6. I haven¡¦t checked in here for some time since I thought it was getting boring, but the last several posts are great quality so I guess I will add you back to my everyday bloglist. You deserve it friend 🙂

  7. A question to everyone. Guys, do you believe it is expected to go all out and spend all your money on an engagement ring to make your girl happy?

Girls, does the money dropped on the ring actually increase how much love you feel for your man?

I dont have a insane amount of money but the ring I brought home for my GF the other day she said was to small so that hurt and now I don’t know what to do. So, what’s your thoughts on this?

    • Unfortunately, the media has brainwashed most of the female population into equating “love” with money. Many scoff, as your lady did, if you don’t go into debt above your head “for her.”

The subliminal message the advertisers portray is that SHE is not “worth it” if you don’t buy the “big-kit” when spending money on her.

You will hear suffix phrases like: ” . . . for me,” and ” . . . to me”, many, many times. Remember; it’s all about them (women.) Almost anything you do or say is filtered through “for me” or “to me.”

They’ll say it doesn’t matter, but trust me, it does.

I know I’ll get a lot of negatives with this, but, prove me wrong; let a mother’s, valentine’s, sweetest, etc. day go by without a gift and the “dog-house” is yours!

    • Hi! I think both of you dudes are putting all women in the same tackle box, we are not all like that. I told my hubby I didn’t want a ring, I knew about how much money he wanted to spend and it was the same amount that would get us a nice motor for the boat! You can’t fish, knee board, go tube’in, ski or any of that stuff on a diamond. Nope, memories can’t be replaced, a diamond can be lost forever.

Franklin good to “see” you again, I’m Wednesday on the Christian forum ~ thanks for the link! 🙂

      • Blessings to you Surfer Girl!
Yeah, I know my response was a big generalization, but I wanted to open the dialog. Tag-you’re-it! 🙂

I really liked your observation “You can’t fish, knee board, go tube’in, ski or any of that stuff on a diamond. Nope, memories can’t be replaced, a diamond can be lost forever.”

I hope everyone gets the point.

        P.S.
Frank is fine, I’m getting rid of the “formal” titles and stuff.

    • PS: @ nadiabf, I’d think twice about getting hitched to that young lady. If she is already like this about a ring, do you really think she will break a nail to fry you up some chicken, shell and can beans and peas for the hard times we are fix’in to have (and some already are)? I don’t know, sounds like a gal that will have issues with socks on the floor or you having a night out with the bubba’s!

More women out there than men, we are in end times friend ~ most folks need a “better half” not a totally dependent half. There are women out there that still know how to can tomatoes, pickles and such. Some know how to sew, pick up kindlin wood for the wood you chop….team work my friend! Pray about it, God knows everything, including just whom would be the best mate for you!

      In Gods love,
      Surfer Girl

  8. I needed to hear this so badly. I need to listen again.
I got 2 Tim #4 from the Lord before reading it here.

  9. Judah, one of the 12 tribes of Israel, descended from Judah, who was the fourth son born to Jacob and his first wife, Leah. It is disputed whether the name Judah was originally that of the tribe or the territory it occupied and which was transposed from which.

    |After the Israelites took possession of the Promised Land, each was assigned a section of land by Joshua, who had replaced Moses as leader after the latter’s death. The tribe of Judah settled in the region south of Jerusalem and in time became the most powerful and most important tribe. Not only did it produce the great kings David and Solomon but also, it was prophesied, the Messiah would come from among its members. Modern Jews, moreover, trace their lineage to the tribes of Judah and Benjamin (absorbed by Judah) or to the tribe, or group, of clans of religious functionaries known as Levites. This situation was brought about by the Assyrian conquest of the Kingdom of Israel in 721 bc, which led to the partial dispersion of the 10 northern tribes and their gradual assimilation by other peoples. (Legends thus refer to them as the Ten Lost Tribes of Israel.)|The southern Kingdom of Judah thrived until 587/586 bc, when it was overrun by the Babylonians, who carried off many of the inhabitants into exile. When the Persians conquered Babylonia in 538 bc, Cyrus the Great allowed the Jews to return to their homeland, where they soon set to work to replace the magnificent Temple of Jerusalem that the Babylonians had destroyed. The history of the Jews from that time forward is predominantly the history of the tribe of Judah.
